After several hours on the Gargano coast, hungry and tired, and... arriving in Apricena... we found this place on the road, (Pummarella) inspired by the name, and given the convenient parking, we immediately went in. The atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable, with good background music... and after an excellent taste of grilled meat, pizza! Cherry tomatoes and pecorino; state of the art pasta cooking. Ready staff. Excellent experience.

We ate at this place several times during our holidays in the Gargano. Excellent value for money. Nice garden and outdoor area, very large parking, well-kept interior with large spaces... really nice! and always excellent food, delicious pizza and genuine local cuisine specialties that are always up to par. Those in the group who tried the gluten-free pizza were enthusiastic about it. We had a great evening and will be back! Dajeee!!!
A portion of chips arrived after a few minutes and two pizzas that were very thin and overly cooked, so much so that they were dry, it felt like eating biscuits rather than pizzas, in fact. I'm sorry to give a negative review of last night's evening, but when I leave the house and spend around 40 euros on food I would like to go home satisfied, I understand that the amount of work is important, also considering the takeaway, but greater attention is advisable.
Nice location and good food. Probably more attention should be paid to the service, which is not particularly welcoming.
We went to this place for the New Year's Eve dinner. Too many people! The tables were so close together that the waiters couldn't get past. The tables were even on the dance "floor".
The food was from a military canteen. When they served the second one (after midnight now) we didn't notice because we were celebrating and the waiters took away the plates untouched at all. The same thing for cotechino and lentils. 80 euros exorbitant price. Luckily we at least had fun. I recommend New Year's Eve elsewhere
